Great bag for Laptop and a few small items.
This is a great bag if all you need to carry is your laptop and few other small items. I am using it for a 15.4" MacBook Pro, a second generation iPod Nano, WD Passport HD, a few cables, USB thumb drive. Also, a few pieces of paper. I'd never be able to add a text book or anything like that. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's small, light and the strap that goes over your shoulder is very wide. I haven't had to carry this for a long period of time yet, but I am sure it will be nice. I used to have a laptop bag with a smaller strap and after a couple hours of travel (airport etc) my should would hurt. With this bag I don't think that'll be a problem.UPDATE (Jan 18th, 2010) - I have had this bag for a few years now. I can report that carrying this bag for long periods of time does not cause pain in my shoulder, even loaded up and heavy. I purchased the Belkin 15" Messenger Bag because I thought it looked nice and because I prefer messenger style bags in general over briefcase or backpack designs. I find the Belkin bag to be a really good value, but I do have some nitpicks.First, I have a Dell 15.4" laptop with a 9-cell battery. The 9-cell protrudes out from the back of the laptop and adds about an inch to the depth. It does fit in the Belkin case okay. However, because the padded compartment for the laptop rests slightly under the main zipper, I'm paranoid that the zipper teeth will scratch the laptop. I live with it by putting the bottom of the laptop towards the back of the case. I'm able to throw my AC adapter in along with it and it's somewhat of a snug fit.Inside, there are 2 pen pockets, 2 card pockets, and 2 larger general pockets. There is also one smaller zippered pocket that runs along the top of the case, which looks large enough to put cables in. Oddly, the outside has one...

Comfortable option
This bag is the most comfortable that I've had. It fits my 15" HP laptop along with the cord and adaptor, over-ear headphones, portable Seagate external hard drive and case, and kensington laptop cord-lock. I especially like the velvet lined laptop compartment; there is no chance of the surface getting scratched. There is even a zippered compartment in the back to store the shoulder strap when you want to use the handles instead. Additionally, there is a slot in the front in which to access your headphones without removing your mp3 or ipod from the case. An important note: this bag isn't the dark expresso brown as shown in the picture. It's more of a chocolate brown, and the blue is a bit more grey as well.

I love this!
This bag is great! I got it for christmas and am very pleased. I don't feel it is "babyish" like alot of other bags. It is very stylish for me and my husband. The changing pad is great. It has so much room I don't think I could fill it up if I tried. It also has an anti-microbial lined pocket which is great for soiled clothes and dirty diapers. I haven't used my regular purse since I had my son. There's plenty of room for my cell, wallet, keys, make-up and two pockets for his bottles inside and pockets on the outside for water bottles. Great buy!

This Diaper Bag is expensive but awesome!
My mom bought me an expensive Vera Bradley diaper bag which only had a few pockets and all my stuff was in a jumble all over the inside. Plus there was no space for my things, only my son's. As you soon find out, you can't carry a purse and a diaper bag, so you have to have one that does both. I ordered this one because it had the most pockets I could find in a diaper bag. It rocks and my stuff is still organized after 4 months. I take this everywhere with me. The inside has great spots for a backup bottle, my stuff is on the outside, and I even have a coupon pocket for the store. This also hangs nicely on the stroller and I have found a million uses for the two outside side mesh pockets, everything from my son's bottle to water to my sunglasses and keys. I know it is a lot of money for a bag, but you won't ever need another one because it is durable and I would carry it for an ordinary bag after I don't need diapers anymore.

Great bag...Both looks and function
I already had a backpack style diaper bag which I liked ok...but it got to be a pain if I needed to grab something out of it. I had looked at the diaper dude bags before but didn't want to spend the extra cash. I ended up breaking down and buying one and haven't regretted it a bit. This bag has lots of room with several outer pockets to place frequently used items. If I need to get anything out of the bag I don't have to take it off to see what I'm doing, which I had to do with my backpack style bag. Plus the looks can't be beat....a variety of patterns in a handy messenger style bag.

If only it were larger
I liked the idea of having a messenger-style diaper bag as opposed to the more prevalent tote-styles. The Diaper Dude bag is ok, but there are a few items that would make it better for my needs.My biggest wish is that the main compartment were larger. It's fairly small and when we put in all the things we'd like to carry, the bag gets stuffed and becomes somewhat misshapen to the point where it lays awkward on my hip and back. I tend to carry portable wipes, 4-5 diapers, 1-2 change of clothes, a hat, a blanket, a sippy cup, a snack trap, a couple of toys, my cell phone and keys. Because I can't find a place for everything, the main inside compartment is a mishmash of unorganized items.The cell phone holder does a fine job holding my LG flip phone. A bigger phone however wouldn't fit, but $15 for a Timbuk2 cell phone case would solve that. Also, the elasticized bottle pocket is pretty snug so getting a bottle in and out is kinda tough. Comfortable, convenient, mid-sized bag
This bag is very comfortable to wear, and the size and location of the zippered pockets in the front, the snap-closure pocket on the back, and the pockets in the larger main compartment makes it easy to keep things organized and easy to find. We've only been using the bag for a few weeks, so I can't speak to its durability, but the construction appears solid, and the zippers work easily.The only negatives are the smallish mobile phone holder (won't hold anything much bigger than a standard flip phone), and the fact that the interior is lined in black, which makes it harder to see items in the bag. (Many baby bag manufacturers have moved to a light-colored interior lining for this reason. It makes it much easier to see what's in the bottom of your bag.) These are relatively minor issues, though, and overall the bag is very well designed and convenient to use.
